Taverne Hellas in Berlin

We ordered today through Lieferando: Delivered on time, and the food was very, very tasty! We had souvlaki and grill plates. The side dishes also tasted very good. Generous portions! When the lockdown is over, we'll come by in person. Merry Christmas.

As always, the food was very good and the staff friendly. The ordinances of the Berlin Senate were stopped (minimum distance, hygiene measures, entry lists ...) We are very satisfied and will be back.

So far I've always been very satisfied with the food and was lucky to be served by the friendly waiter. But today I could understand the negative reviews. The waitress, you don't like to call it service, was extremely rude, no binding word. Just terrible ..

Although we didn't reserve, we got a seat. The people were friendly and quick, the food was delicious and plentiful. Price performance fits great. We'd love to come back when we're in Berlin 👍

How do you rate gastronomy in bad times? The food was correspondingly good - but the Greek hospitality has not developed in the staff. See also other reviews from guests at the Hellas tavern. Unfortunately we cannot recommend it.

Unfortunately, the waiter obviously didn't feel like serving me. The lunch menu has around 15 dishes, but nothing vegetarian. When I politely asked if the waiter could recommend something to me, the answer came: "Steak and fries". When I once again emphasized in a friendly manner that I did not eat meat, it was said: "If I have nothing vegetarian, what of nothing I can recommend to you?". If you could have put together a plate of salad and starters - for some reason he didn't want my money.

I buy 3 dishes and I ask for pasta kids menu because I can't eat that much ... so the waiter Alex is the name is don't wanna serve me .. is tell me is for kids menu only for them is selling.. I was a normal client I order many dishes and for pasta kids when I'm asking is don't wanna serve us .... that it's rude and I don't eat anymore there 😷😠😠🤬🤬🤬🤢🤢🤢🤢

Worst experience ever! The waiter, who also claims to be the boss, delivered the food in dirty plates and wine in a dirty container. If you made the comment that the older man with glasses has become aggressive and said that we can pay and leave, although we have not yet got the main course. We should celebrate nicely, the mood would be destroyed. Food mediocre, fish dry, salad careless. A shame for the beautiful Günzel Kiez. If you want to eat good Greek, you should go to Pikilia in Spanische Allee!

It Is not worth It. Too much expensive for what we ate. Quite bad service. I would not recommend it to my friends.

Waiters are rude and although we didn’t have a reservation and other people didn’t, they discriminated us and denied service.

This place has the unfriendliest service in the whole city! The older guy just wants to get rid off guests, no work motivation. We were there, 2 ladies, 2 girls, ordered 4 meals. Not only they were unfriendly but they didn't help us change the table as it started raining. Food is normal greek, nothing special. Totally overpriced for what they have to offer!! NO GO !

Good food, reasonable price, quiet location

OK place to stop for a beer. We only had a quick bite which was fine through nothing sentational. Nice waiters.

What can you say as a big city visitor? Ambience is inviting, food-delicious. But the service is not recommended. Pretty naughty and not friendly.

You don't want to miss out on this lovely restaurant! Their ouzo and lamb are absolutely amazing and it comes with a really authentic atmosphere! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful:)

Best Greek restaurant in Berlin

I love this restaurant. It always has good selection and very tasty food. They serve the real Malamatina Retsina. It has a little outside garden, it can get very busy but they always endeavour to keep standards high.
